Picnic (the lunch spot) was twice named one of the state’s best restaurants by New Jersey Monthly magazine, and its chefs won the Ultimate Chef Bergen County contest. Picnic (the caterer) continually garnered praise from its A-list clients. Savvy and sated diners know it won’t be long before Picnic, the Restaurant adds its own accolades to the list. In fact, reviewers have already begun singing Picnic’s praises.
The subtle change in Picnic’s slogan, from Fun fabulous food to Fine fabulous food reflects the steps Picnic, the Restaurant has taken toward more elegant, upscale dining. The menu changes daily and features an ever changing array of the finest local ingredients, carefully prepared and served simply. The décor is understated and elegant. Wine paired to the food is available for delivery, or can be picked up next door at Radburn Liquors in the Picnic section of the store. Reservations are recommended.

Picnic’s hip vibe and intimate space are perfect for private parties from 15 to 36. Showers, luncheons, cocktail parties and dinners are all available.
If you prefer another location, or have too many people for our space, off-premises catering by Picnic is also available.
