Have a seat and enjoy your meal. Picnic, the Restaurant is now open in the Radburn section of Fair Lawn.

Construction is completed, new menus are posted daily, the staff know their routines, and the kitchen and dining room are filled nightly with the scents, sights, and sounds of fine foods and pleased patrons.

By all accounts, the extraordinary reputation that Picnic enjoyed in its previous incarnation as a first-class caterer and popular lunch spot in Emerson (hence the moniker “Picnic, the Restaurant” to distinguish the Radburn restaurant from its Emerson forebear) is being upheld and even raised by the new restaurant.

Picnic (the lunch spot) was twiced named one of the state’s best restaurants by New Jersey Monthly magazine, and its chefs won the Ultimate Chef Bergen County contest. Picnic (the caterer) continually garnered praise from its A-list clients. Savvy and sated diners know it won’t be long before Picnic, the Restaurant adds its own accolades to the list. In fact, reviewers have already begun singing Picnic’s praises.

The subtle change in Picnic’s slogan, from Fun fabulous food to Fine fabulous food reflects the steps Picnic, the Restaurant has taken toward more elegant, upscale dining. The menu changes daily and features an ever changing array of the finest local ingredients, carefully prepared and served simply. The décor is understated and elegant. Wine paired to the food is available for delivery, or can be picked up next door at Radburn Liquors in the Picnic section of the store. Reservations are recommended.

Picnic Lunch Returns

Picnic is pleased to announce — especially to friends in the Pascack Valley — that lunch is available once again.

Picnic is back in full-time business with a gorgeous new kitchen at the new Picnic, the Restaurant.

We’re offering special luncheon packages for delivery (by Javi!) to the Pascack Valley. We hope you’ve missed your Picnic lunches and will allow us to continue to serve your corporate, office and home needs.
